Top 5 Country Singers with A Deep Voice:

#5: Scotty Mcreery

Scotty McCreery deep voice country singer MGM Grand ACM Awards

American Idol Winner Country Singer Scotty Mccreery has a baritone vocal register true to classic country tradition, Scotty wowed judges in the 10th season and won first place, with Lauren Alaina coming in second. He went on to release his first first number one song “I love You This Big”  in 2011 and is one of my Top 5 Country Singers with a deep voice.

#4: Trace Atkins

Ladies love country boys, or do ladies love Trace Atkins voice? I think both are certainly the case. He may not be one of the best country artists of all time. His voice is enough to make any country girl buckle at the knees and break out in goose bumps. Making him #5 on our count down for country artists with a deep voice.

#3: Josh Turner

Josh Turner, when you record a song like “Your Man” with a voice like Joshes you know you are on the track to major success. Josh  Turner’s voice is one in a million, his smooth deep country voice, wins all the ladies hearts. With songs like “Hometown Girl”  “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and my personal favorite “Lay Low” Josh Turner’a is a voice that many country artists wish they had.

#2: Randy Travis

Randy Travis 2022

A true country music superstar, Randy Travis has a voice many have tried to copy. After a stroke in 2013, doctors told him no one would ever hear his voice again, he simply could not speak. But thanks to Gods grace Randy proved all the doctors wrong, not only can he speak but he can also sing a little bit of his classic hit “Forever and Ever” although the touring days are over for Travis, one can only reflect on recordings of what use to be one of the best voices in country music ever.

#1: Johnny Cash

Once again topping a list, Johnny Cash tops the list at #1. You can’t argue that his deep baritone vocal register isn’t the number one country singers with a deep voice. He’s certainly one of the top country artists of all time. Simply the best, and always will be all you have to hear is 3 words to know its Johnny Cash even if you’ve never heard him sing before. When it comes to deep country voices, I walk the line.

Ps. Kane Brown, we didn’t leave you out, your just not country enough for the “Bringing Country Back” podcast, but after a collab with Chris Young on “Famous Friends” you are off to a great start. Would love to hear more songs like that.
