Country Musics Most Underrated Male Singers:

Country Music’s Most Underrated Male Singers: Mainstream country radio is full of some of the same artist  they have been playing for the past 20 years, which begs the question, “Who will fill their shoes” as George Jones would say. Although its very rare for even some of the best to break into the mainstream music market for a long period of time here are some great artists that have that serious potential. I believe to make it as an artist you should at least be a great songwriter, as well as having a brand presents and a great voice. Here are my picks for the most underrated male country singers.

#5: Trey Lewis

Trey Lewis country singer singing new country songs

Trey might be famous for his song “Dicked Down In Dallas” which went #1 on Billboard country charts and iTunes after going viral on Tik Tok but he is more then just a flash in the pan. Hes had other major charting songs to follow it up too songs like “Single Again” and “Shut The Door” help put Trey on top. He signed with Sony Music Nashville is now on tour with Kid Rock, and this is just the beginning for this great songwriter and talented new artist.

#4:  Ray Fulcher

ray fulcher releases new songs new album and new music video

Ray Fulcher is one of the most talented songwriters in Nashville penning hits for Luke Combs, Riley Green and The Zac Brown Band. His most famous songs he wrote are “When It Rains It Pours” and “What You See Is What You Get” for Luke Combs. On top of that he is a great singer with a great country voice.

#3: Adam Sanders

Adam Sanders music black shirt pose and new album cover

Adam Sanders is one of the most underrated country singers ever. Cutting 2 double LP albums of over 50 songs and millions of streams. Adam has the longevity and great music and the content but its been hard for him to break into the mainstream country market. Even after writing “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” for Cole Swindell. Hes found some great independent success with his new single “What If I’m Right” which earned up a top spot on Spotify’s Hot Country Charts.

#2: Josh Mirenda

Josh Mirenda releases new music till the neons gone and mile by the minute

Josh has the makings of a country superstar, his original music is pretty much top 10 radio having penned “Girl Like You” and “Rearview Town” for Jason Aldean “Somewhere On A Beach” for Dierks Bentley and “Slow Ride” Mitchell Tenpenny and Colt Ford. Plus his won debut single “Till The Neons Gone” and “That Summer” which has millions of streams on Spotify, Josh should be in regular rotation on radio and every platform he has a great voice hes a humble guy and on top of that, in my opinion after seeing him live every chance I could he should be a superstar, no doubt about it.

#1: Taylor Phillips

Taylor Phillips wrote one of the biggest songs in country music history “Hurricane” for Luke Combs triple platinum selling song. If that isn’t enough he also wrote “Homesick” for Kane Brown “Good As You” “Found You” “BFE” as well as “What Happens In A Small Town” and “Rolly On A Redneck” for Brantley Gilbert. He has released two albums under his own name including “Six Strings Attached” and “Rust In Piece” he deserves massive cred as both a writer and a great artist, you listen to anything off on of these albums and you’ll see for yourself he should be filling stadiums on his own, hes a true ladies man and really can draw him in at his live shows, packing the house every time. He deserves more credit as an artist he has a great branding that I feel is truly relatable as a true North Carolina redneck.
